Good news for those unable to attend this year’s Spiritual Leadership Conference! We will be live streaming the evening services and all of the daytime sessions taking place in the main auditorium. Additionally, there will be some special features and interviews broadcasted before and after the evening services. (These will begin thirty minutes before the services.)
The live stream is available at lbclive.tv. I pray that it is a blessing to friends around the world who are not able to be in Lancaster during the conference.
I’m looking forward to this conference and am praying that the Lord will use these services and sessions—here in Lancaster and via live stream—to do a great work in all of our lives and ministries!
Below is a schedule for the live stream (times given are Pacific Time): (more…)

This spring, my wife wrote a new book that I know will be a tremendous blessing and help to ladies. It is titled The Choice Is Yours and encourages ladies to purposefully live with a strong and joyful walk with the Lord. It will be a help to Christian ladies of all ages.
I have an “inside perspective” of the author’s life, and I know Terrie to be qualified to write such a book. Her consistent and effective walk with the Lord challenges me. Through this book, she shares how to develop and nurture a vibrant walk with God and how to make daily choices in many areas, including the following:
- Authenticity
- Faith
- Identity in Christ
- Joy
- Strength in trials
- Victorious, Spirit-filled living
It seems there is not enough material written specifically for ladies to encourage them in their walk with God. This book will be a great resource, and I’m thrilled that Terrie has written it. (more…)

I’ve never been more thankful to be an American. I’m thankful for the men who pledged their “lives, fortunes, and sacred honor” to sign the Declaration of Independence and then gave of themselves in unspeakable sacrifice to birth this great nation.
These men understood that patriotism meant so much more than grabbing the family rifle and charging the red coats. It involved giving whatever was necessary to uphold the God-given values of freedom and equality which they had come to embrace. For many, patriotism meant giving their lives, their families, and their fortunes. They purchased freedom at a heavy personal expense.
I’m thankful for the heritage of these patriots, statesmen, and soldiers who embraced and upheld freedom—even at the expense of themselves.
I’m thankful for men and women around the world today (some from our church family) who are sacrificing for continued freedom. (more…)

One week from tomorrow we celebrate our 25th anniversary at Lancaster Baptist Church. And our campus is filled with busy people!
Over the past several weeks, much work has been done in preparation for this special day and the Spiritual Leadership Conference beginning the day after. I’m thankful for a church family who gives so freely of their time to help with construction, renovation, and preparation. (And all of this work is on top of many extra hours of soulwinning and visits to invite our community to the anniversary services.)
One of the very exciting projects to me is the beautiful new monument sign going up on the corner of 40th East and Avenue J (pictured above). I’m humbled by the work God is doing here, and I want this sign—and every building on our campus—to stand as a monument in our valley to the grace of God. I pray that for many years to come, people will see our church and know that God is at work here!
