Bunyun- Prison Door

John Bunyan
Bedfordshire, England
John Bunyan was imprisoned for twelve years for preaching without a license. He is most remembered for writing the book Pilgrim’s Progress from his prison cell at Bedford. While Bunyan was journeying upon an errand of mercy, he was exposed to a heavy rain, which brought on a violent fever, from the effect of which he died in ten days, in London on August 12, 1688.
