Without the anointing of the Holy Spirit, biblical church growth doesn’t take place. We may be able to increase numbers or inflate emotions, but without the power of the Holy Spirit, we have no true growth.
This month’s spiritual leadership podcast is not a lesson about church growth but about obedience to the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who calls us to be soulwinners, convicts sinners of their need for Him, and empowers our witness. Without His filling, our best efforts are useless.
Yet the church who is yielded to the Holy Spirit’s direction, obedient in their witness, and biblical in their methods will experience the fulfillment of Acts 2:47: “…the Lord added to the church daily….”
